Privacy Policy

English translation of the Spanish original, provided for convenience. If the two ever differ, the Spanish version prevails.

This policy explains what personal data Puntos Padel Club by Reball (operated by REBALL) processes when a club uses the web dashboard or the clubs app, what it is used for and who it is shared with. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions (in Spanish).

1. Two different roles

  • Data about the club and its team: we are the data controller. We use it to set the club up, provide the service and charge the subscription.
  • Data about the club's players, students and coaches: the club processes it and decides what it is for. We act on behalf of and under the instructions of the club: we store and process it only so that the service works, and we do not use it for our own purposes.

2. What data we process

Account and team

  • Name and email of each person on the team, and their role in the club.
  • Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication (Google) and we never see them. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from that account.
  • Device push notification tokens, if you use the app.

The club

  • Name, description, area, address, coordinates, phone/WhatsApp, contact email, photos and logo.
  • Courts, opening hours, prices, closures, deposit and cancellation policy.
  • Subscription and referral program status. If you connect Mercado Pago, we store the credentials for that connection in a restricted area of the server that no client can reach.

Day-to-day operations

  • Bookings: court, day, time, status, amount, and the name and phone number the club or the player enters to identify the slot.
  • Over-the-counter payments, sales, purchases and cash register movements.
  • Academy: students (and their contact details), coaches, groups, attendance and fees.
  • Dashboard activity history: which user made which change, and when.

Technical

  • Usage and error logs, IP address and device or browser data, for security and troubleshooting.
  • Site measurement data: pages visited, where you arrived from, device type and a random identifier stored by your browser. It does not include your name or your email, and we do not use it to identify you.

3. What we use it for

  • Providing the service: schedule, bookings, cash register, academy, reports.
  • Publishing the club's profile and availability in the Puntos Padel app and on its public link, when the club enables it.
  • Charging the subscription and managing the trial, the promotions and the referral program.
  • Operational notices: new bookings, expiry dates, changes to the service.
  • Analysing the club's occupancy in order to suggest actions. The monthly report is built from aggregated data (booked and free hours per time slot, number of bookings, cancellations and consumption) and includes no personal data of players or students.
  • Security, fraud prevention and compliance with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. The club's obligations regarding third-party data

If you upload data about players, students or coaches, you must have a legal basis for doing so, tell them how you are going to use it, and handle their requests for access, rectification or deletion. For students who are minors, obtaining the authorisation of their parents or guardians is the club's responsibility. Do not upload sensitive data (health data, among others) that the service does not need.

5. Who it is shared with

  • Google (Firebase / Google Cloud): authentication, database, image storage, server functions, notifications and hosting.
  • Google Analytics: measures site usage in aggregate (visits, pages, traffic sources). It receives no names, phone numbers, emails or booking data, and addresses that carry an invitation or booking code are sent to it without that code.
  • Mercado Pago:collects the platform subscription and, if the club connects it, the players' deposits. Deposit money goes to the club's account.
  • OpenStreetMap (Nominatim):we query it with the club's address to place it on the map.
  • Anthropic (Claude):writes the diagnosis and the suggested actions in the monthly occupancy report. Only the club's aggregated figures and its name are sent: no names, phone numbers or bookings of players or students.
  • Puntos Padel app and public link:the club's public data (name, area, address, contact details, photos, courts, opening hours and prices) is shown to players.
  • Authorities: where a legal rule or a court order requires it.

6. International transfers

Google's infrastructure may store and process data on servers outside Argentina. Those providers are covered by contractual data protection commitments.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as the club is active. After the club leaves, we keep operational data for up to 12 months in case the club comes back or a claim arises, and billing data for the periods required by tax law. Backups are overwritten on their usual cycles. Once those periods have passed, the data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

Access to data is limited by server-side rules and by each person's role in the club: one club cannot see another club's data, and the payment credentials are not readable by any client. Connections are encrypted. No system is infallible: if an incident affects your data, we will tell you through the club's contact channels.

9. Your rights

You can request access to, rectification, updating or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing, by writing to monica.gerchinhoren@gmail.com. If the request comes from a player or a student, we pass it on to the club, which is the one that decides about that data.

In Argentina, the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (Agency for Access to Public Information) is the supervisory authority for Personal Data Protection Act No. 25,326 and handles complaints about non-compliance.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep your session open, remember the active club and remember your theme preference (light or dark).

We also use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used: how many visits it gets, which pages are looked at and where visitors come from. It leaves a first-party cookie with a random identifier, which does not tell us who you are; Google uses the IP address to estimate the approximate location and does not keep it in the reports. We always look at this in aggregate, to decide what to improve.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share this data for advertising purposes. You can block the measurement from your browser settings or with the opt-out add-on published by Google, without losing any dashboard feature.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is significant we will announce it through the dashboard or by email and, where appropriate, ask you to accept it again.
